Studies have shown that music improves our lives in multiple ways. Our brains are changed from listening to and playing music. We learn better, our confidence is boosted, and we see the world through a broader lens. Our stress levels are lowered, our health is improved, and our creativity flows more readily.

It is my privilege to bring life-giving music to your school or library. Not only do we all feel better after a music session, but we also get to make positive connections with each other. I believe we all need more positivity, love, harmony, and human connections in our world right now.

A little calm breath before we sing and dance!

“Music is the one art we all have inside. We may not be able to play an instrument, but we can sing along or clap or tap our feet. Have you ever seen a baby bouncing up and down in the crib in time to some music? When you think of it, some of that baby's first messages from his or her parents may have been lullabies, or at least the music of their speaking voices. All of us have had the experience of hearing a tune from childhood and having that melody evoke a memory or a feeling. The music we hear early on tends to stay with us all our lives.” -- Fred Rogers
